 Donations can be made in dollars or Membership Rewards ®points. Your dollar donation is tax deductible and you will receive an e-mail receipt that meets IRS requirements as a record of your contribution.  On-line Giving Program and Other GuideStar Collaborations

GuideStar licenses its search engine and database to several Web sites, thus increasing exposure for the nonprofits in the database. For a complete list of sites that have licensed GuideStar data, see GuideStar Partners .

All 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the GuideStar database are automatically included in data licensed to these sites, as are other 501(c) organizations that can receive tax-deductible contributions if those contributions are for public or charitable purposes.

Two sites that have licensed the GuideStar database, JustGive and Network for Good, offer on-line giving systems for donors.

Public charities&emdash;nonprofit organizations granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service&emdash;that participate in GuideStar can accept donations directly from their Web sites through JustGive.org and Network for Good. An organization can also choose to remove its information from data licensed by GuideStar .Note: As a public, tax-exempt entity, your organization will remain in the GuideStar database. Your information simply will not appear at sites that have licensed GuideStar data.
